What is a peptide?
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. Longer chains are called proteins, and the boundary between the two is conventional rather than exact — commonly placed around 50 amino acids.
Are research peptides legal?
Most are sold under a 'research use only' designation, meaning they are not approved or intended for human or veterinary use. Legal status varies by country and by compound, and some are prohibited in tested sport. None of the entries in this reference is a recommendation to obtain or use anything.
Why don't these pages give dosages?
Because for unapproved compounds there is no established human dosing to give, and publishing a number would be presenting a guess as guidance. These pages describe what each compound is, how vials are supplied, and how to record what you take accurately.
How do I convert a vial into syringe units?
Divide the vial's peptide mass by the volume of bacteriostatic water you added to get the concentration, divide your intended amount by that concentration to get millilitres, then multiply by 100 for U-100 syringe units. Our reconstitution calculator does this on the numbers you enter.
