Privacy Policy

The short version: your peptide and dose log never reaches us. It is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. The only thing we process is subscription status, so the app knows whether Pro is active.

Last updated

This policy explains how PepCycle ("we", "us") handles information in the PepCycle iOS application and on pepcycle.app. Effective date: 2026-07-13.

1. Information we collect

Purchase and subscription information

When you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use Adapty, a subscription-management provider, to determine whether your subscription is active. This involves an anonymous app-generated identifier and your purchase status. It does not include your name, email address, payment details or anything you have logged in the app.

Website analytics

This website uses aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read. This data is not linked to any identified individual and never contains health information, because the website never receives any. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser: values you type into them are not transmitted, logged or stored.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, receive, transmit or store any of the following:

  • Your peptide, medication, dose, vial, injection-site or side-effect entries
  • Weight, measurements, notes or any other health data
  • Contacts, photos, precise location or device identifiers used for tracking
  • Your name, email address or any account credentials — there is no account

This is an architectural property rather than a policy promise. Health entries are written to a local database on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, iOS syncs them to your own iCloud private database under your Apple ID. That is Apple's infrastructure and your account; we have no access to it and no way to obtain access.

3. Where your data lives

  • On your device. The primary store, available offline, and removed if you delete the app.
  • In your iCloud (optional). Governed by your iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy. Disabling iCloud for PepCycle stops syncing; the local database is unaffected.
  • Anywhere you export to. Files you export are entirely under your control.

4. Third parties

  • Apple — App Store distribution, payment processing and iCloud sync, under Apple's own privacy policy.
  • Adapty — subscription status management, receiving an anonymous identifier and purchase status only.
  • Google Fonts — this website loads its typeface from Google's font CDN, which involves your browser making a request to that service.

We do not use advertising SDKs, do not participate in data brokerage, and do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.

5. Children

PepCycle is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. In practice:

  • Access and portability — export your complete log to CSV or JSON from within the app at any time. We cannot provide a copy because we do not hold one.
  • Deletion — deleting the app removes local data; deleting PepCycle data in your iCloud settings removes the synced copy. For subscription records, email us and we will instruct our provider to delete what is associated with your identifier.
  • Complaints — you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

Local data is protected by iOS device encryption and the operating system's app sandbox. iCloud data is protected by Apple's security measures under your Apple ID. Because we hold no health data, a breach of our systems could not expose your log.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, note it in the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
