Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PepCycle regarding the PepCycle iOS application and pepcycle.app (together, the "Service"). Effective date: 2026-07-13. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. What the Service is

PepCycle is a personal record-keeping and unit-conversion tool. It lets you record substances you take, quantities, dates, injection sites and observations, and it performs deterministic arithmetic on values you enter. It is not a medical device, is not a drug dosage calculator, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.

2. No medical advice

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and does not recommend, prescribe or adjust any dose, schedule, protocol or product. Content in the app and on the website is general and educational. It is not tailored to you and cannot account for your medical history, medications or circumstances.

Always seek the advice of a licensed healthcare provider with any question about a medical condition or anything you take. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of the Service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. Our full position is set out in the Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that is unlawful in your jurisdiction
• Rely on it as a substitute for professional medical judgement
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where law permits
• Republish substantial portions of the website's content without permission
• Use automated means to scrape the Service in a way that burdens our infrastructure

You are solely responsible for the legality of any substance you obtain or use. Many compounds described on the website are not approved for human use, and legal status varies by country. Nothing on the Service is encouragement to obtain or use anything.

5. Your data

Your log is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We do not receive or store it. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; the export function exists for that purpose. We cannot recover data that is lost from your device and your iCloud, because we never held it. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and payment

• Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed before purchase and may vary by region.
• Purchases are processed by Apple and governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel from your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. We are not able to process refunds on Apple's behalf.
• If a subscription lapses, Pro features stop but your data is retained on your device and remains exportable.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, text, design and graphics, is owned by PepCycle and protected by intellectual property law. Your data is yours; we claim no ownership of anything you record.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations, reminders or content will be accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying every result against your own labels and instructions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PepCycle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or health outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify PepCycle against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in which case your locally stored data remains yours and exportable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected.
