How a blend calculation works

Each component is divided by the same diluent volume, producing its own concentration. Drawing any volume then takes all components in their fixed ratio.

Worked example, arithmetic only: a vial labelled 50 mg GHK-Cu / 10 mg BPC-157 / 10 mg TB-500, reconstituted with 5 mL, gives 10 mg/mL, 2 mg/mL and 2 mg/mL. One U-100 unit — 0.01 mL — therefore contains 100 mcg, 20 mcg and 20 mcg respectively.

Recording a blend properly

  • Record each component's mass from the label, not the marketing name.
  • Record the single diluent volume once — it applies to all components.
  • Log one entry with one volume, and let the per-component amounts be derived.
  • If you switch supplier, treat it as a new compound: two vials labelled GLOW can differ substantially.

This is the case most trackers handle worst, typically by forcing you to invent one fake vial per component. PepCycle models a blend as a single vial with components, so one entry produces correct per-component amounts.

Frequently asked questions

What is in a GLOW or KLOW peptide blend?

GLOW commonly refers to a GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 mix; KLOW typically adds KPV. Both are supplier marketing names rather than standardised formulations, so composition and ratios vary. Use the masses printed on your own vial.

Can I calculate one component of a blend separately?

You can calculate what each contributes, which is what this tool does. What you cannot do is vary one independently — the ratios are fixed when the vial is made, so any volume you draw takes all components together.

Is a blend the same as a stack?

No. A blend is one vial containing several pre-mixed peptides at fixed ratios. A stack is several separate vials used over the same period, each with its own concentration and expiry. Drawing two separate vials into one syringe does not create a blend.
