Free-base identity and label matching
PubChem identifies BPC-157 as a discrete peptide record with formula C62H98N16O22 and molecular weight 1,419.5 g/mol. Cayman Chemical lists the same molecular weight for its free-base reference material. Those values belong to that named free-base structure. A vial carrying an acetate, trifluoroacetate or another counterion can have a different formula mass, so the exact form printed on a certificate should be preserved rather than silently replaced with the free-base number.
