PubChem records thymosin alpha-1 under the title Thymalfasin with formula C129H215N33O55 and molecular weight 3,108.3 g/mol. Cayman lists the same molecular weight for its reference material. Storing the thymalfasin synonym helps match country-specific or technical documents without confusing this peptide with thymosin beta-4, which is a different molecular record. Water solubility and frozen storage
Cayman reports water solubility at 25 mg/mL and storage at -20 C for its thymosin alpha-1 product. These are laboratory specification values for that catalog material. Alpha and beta thymosins must remain separate
