Tesamorelin dosage calculator
Tesamorelin vials are commonly labelled 1 mg, 2 mg. This calculator divides the vial mass by the diluent volume you enter to show concentration, then converts your own target amount into millilitres and syringe units. It states no dose, chooses no amount and stores nothing.
This page is a calculation tool. The amounts you enter are values you decided; this page states no dose and gives no medical advice.
Tesamorelin vial concentration grid
This table answers one arithmetic question: what concentration results when a labelled vial mass is divided by a measured diluent volume? It does not select either value.
| Vial mass | Diluent | Concentration | Same concentration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mg | 0.5 mL | 2,000 mcg/mL | 2 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 1 mL | 1,000 mcg/mL | 1 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 1.5 mL | 666.67 mcg/mL | 0.667 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 2 mL | 500 mcg/mL | 0.5 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 2.5 mL | 400 mcg/mL | 0.4 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 3 mL | 333.33 mcg/mL | 0.333 mg/mL |
| 1 mg | 5 mL | 200 mcg/mL | 0.2 mg/mL |
| 2 mg | 0.5 mL | 4,000 mcg/mL | 4 mg/mL |
| 2 mg | 1 mL | 2,000 mcg/mL | 2 mg/mL |
| 2 mg | 1.5 mL | 1,333.33 mcg/mL | 1.333 mg/mL |
| 2 mg | 2 mL | 1,000 mcg/mL | 1 mg/mL |
| 2 mg | 2.5 mL | 800 mcg/mL | 0.8 mg/mL |

Tesamorelin physical-property record
Tesamorelin has a large peptide identity record
PubChem lists tesamorelin with formula C221H366N72O67S and molecular weight 5,136 g/mol. Cayman supplies an acetate form and reports 5,250.2 g/mol for that product. The difference shows why salt form belongs beside the compound name. Copying the free-peptide value into an acetate lot record would make the certificate and database appear to disagree when they describe different mass conventions. Laboratory solubility and storage
Cayman reports water solubility at 50 mg/mL and storage at -20 C for its tesamorelin acetate reference material. That result is a product specification, not a selected reconstitution concentration. The page leaves its liquid field open because a marketed product, a compounded vial and a research standard can have different excipients and label instructions even when the active peptide name is similar. Product presentation must stay separate from raw peptide data
A chemical database describes the molecule, while a product label describes a finished presentation. Those records answer different questions. The molecular formula supports identity checking; the vial or package label supplies the actual mass and solution information used in arithmetic. The calculator never substitutes the database molecular weight for the quantity on the physical label and never assumes that an unverified vial matches an authorised product. What to retain for later verification
Keep the exact tesamorelin name, salt form, manufacturer, catalog or product identifier, lot, labelled mass, measured volume and source link in one record. If the source provides a storage statement, preserve its wording and the date consulted. The calculator can then reproduce concentration arithmetic without claiming a beyond-use date, a preparation protocol or a dose. Those questions are outside this physical-property reference. How to use the calculator
- Read the total mass from your own vial label and enter it in milligrams.
- Enter the diluent volume you actually measured, not an intended or remembered value.
- Enter your own target amount and select the calibration printed on your syringe barrel.
- Record the concentration with the result so the syringe-unit figure remains interpretable later.

Frequently asked questions
How much bacteriostatic water for a 1 mg Tesamorelin vial?
This calculator does not choose a diluent volume. Enter the volume you decided to add to the 1 mg vial and it will show the resulting concentration. The page supplies arithmetic, not an instruction.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 2 mg Tesamorelin vial?
There is no universal volume selected by this page. Use the value you measured or were instructed to use; the calculator then divides the 2 mg label mass by that volume.
Does the Tesamorelin calculator recommend a dose?
No. The target amount is always entered by the user. The tool provides no starting amount, maximum amount, progression, frequency or schedule.
Why does the syringe calibration matter?
A syringe unit is a volume marking. U-100, U-50 and U-40 barrels use different numbers of units per millilitre, so the same solution volume produces different markings.
