TB-500 physical-property record
TB-500 labels need an identity qualifier
TB-500 is a market label rather than a sufficiently precise chemical identifier on its own. The linked PubChem and Cayman records describe full-length thymosin beta-4, with formula C212H350N56O78S and molecular weight 4,963 g/mol. A vial labelled TB-500 should not automatically inherit those values unless its documentation explicitly identifies the material as that same full-length structure. The calculator therefore treats label mass as an arithmetic input and does not claim that every TB-500 product shares one registry identity. Full-length thymosin beta-4 is a reference, not proof
Cayman supplies thymosin beta-4 as a trifluoroacetate salt reference material. That counterion wording matters because a salt specification is not interchangeable with a free peptide or an unspecified fragment. The external record is useful for comparing a certificate, sequence and molecular form, but it cannot verify a separate vial. If the label omits the sequence or form, the omission belongs in the record instead of being filled with an assumption from a similarly named database entry. No. The target amount is always entered by the user. The tool provides no starting amount, maximum amount, progression, frequency or schedule.
Why does the syringe calibration matter?
A syringe unit is a volume marking. U-100, U-50 and U-40 barrels use different numbers of units per millilitre, so the same solution volume produces different markings.
