PubChem records sermorelin with formula C149H246N44O42S and molecular weight 3,357.9 g/mol. Cayman lists its sermorelin acetate material at 3,449.9 g/mol. The acetate-associated value belongs to that catalog form, while the PubChem value describes the compound record. A precise vial note should include the salt wording so a later molecular-weight check does not appear inconsistent. Reference-material handling

Cayman's technical specification reports water solubility at 10 mg/mL for its sermorelin acetate and storage at -20 C. These are supplier conditions for a laboratory reference product. Why the certificate mass basis matters

A certificate may report gross salt mass, peptide content or a free-base equivalent. Those bases are not interchangeable when checking a molecular weight or calculating moles.
