PubChem records semaglutide with formula C187H291N45O59 and molecular weight 4,114 g/mol. Cayman lists the same molecular weight for its free-base reference material. Why does the syringe calibration matter?
A syringe unit is a volume marking. U-100, U-50 and U-40 barrels use different numbers of units per millilitre, so the same solution volume produces different markings.
