PubChem lists MOTS-c with formula C101H152N28O22S2 and molecular weight 2,174.6 g/mol. Cayman reports the same molecular weight for its free-base reference material. That agreement is useful only when the vial documentation identifies the same form. A salt, modified sequence or formulation can carry a different total formula mass, so the certificate name remains more important than a shortened front-label term. Reported water solubility is a catalog fact
Cayman's MOTS-c free-base specification reports water solubility at 10 mg/mL and storage at -20 C. Those conditions apply to the named reference item. Why does the syringe calibration matter?
A syringe unit is a volume marking. U-100, U-50 and U-40 barrels use different numbers of units per millilitre, so the same solution volume produces different markings.
