GHK-Cu physical-property record
Copper coordination changes the identity record
PubChem records copper tripeptide as a copper-coordinated form rather than plain glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. Its listed formula is C14H21CuN6O4- and its molecular weight is 400.90 g/mol. The copper atom is part of that identity record, so a page or certificate for uncomplexed GHK should not be assigned the GHK-Cu value. The blue color commonly associated with copper peptide material is also a reason to preserve the exact compound wording and physical appearance in a lot record. Solubility belongs to a named product form
MedChemExpress reports water solubility for its GHK-Cu product at 50 mg/mL with ultrasonic assistance. That is a technical result for the supplier's specified material, not a universal reconstitution volume. A different counterion, purity, excipient package or copper ratio can change observed behavior. The calculator therefore never preselects liquid from this solubility figure; it only divides the labelled mass by the volume the user actually measured. Storage wording should travel with the source
The MedChemExpress technical page separates short-term refrigerated storage from longer-term frozen storage and advises protection from light. Those conditions describe unopened reference material under the supplier's packaging. They do not establish a beyond-use date for a separately sourced solution. No. The target amount is always entered by the user. The tool provides no starting amount, maximum amount, progression, frequency or schedule.
Why does the syringe calibration matter?
A syringe unit is a volume marking. U-100, U-50 and U-40 barrels use different numbers of units per millilitre, so the same solution volume produces different markings.
